Meet the committee 2024/2025
As Chair of the Eastney and Milton Allotment Holders Association Helen is responsible for the day-to-day running of the association. Liaising with Portsmouth CC, association members and other committee members. Helen has an allotment at Eastney Lake.
Lilly is the Association Treasurer and as such is responsible to for looking after all of the financial tasks, banking, recording financial transactions and paying the bills on behalf of the association.
Liz is the Association Secretary and as such is responsible for the administrative and secretarial duties of the committee. She works with the committee chair and other members to ensure that the committee runs smoothly.
Sarah is our Membership Secretary and is responsible for keeping records of members, including their status and renewal dates. Prepare reports for the association's committee, including membership status updates.
As Trading Officer, Matthew is responsible for the Allotment Shop. Maintaining stock levels, ordering supplies of items from our wholesalers and liaising with our wonderful shop volunteers and members. Matthew has an allotment at Eastney Lake.
Bill is the Environmental Officer for the Association. This entails working to protect the environment by regulating activities, conducting inspections, and managing pollution at the site. Bill liaises with officials and contractors from Portsmouth CC helping to keep the allotment site as environmentally friendly as possible. Bill has his allotment at Eastney Lake.
Committee member Jeanette has an important role supporting all of the varios association projects and shop rota duties. Jeanette has an allotment at Eastney Lake.
